Job Title – QA Engineer
This is a challenging opportunity for a tech savvy associate to play a pivotal role in solving complex business challenges using technology in the Financial Services domain.
The Purpose of This Role
The FFIO (Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations) Technology teams manage applications that provide accounting and investment management support to Fidelity businesses and mutual fund shareholders As a Test Automation team member, you will be involved in the worlds of development and IT-operations. You will play a key role in the development of new automation ideas for products and services and work with the team in turning these ideas into reality. This could include participating in brainstorming meetings and creation of solution mock-ups and identifying possible design flaws until the resulting solution is satisfactory. The role calls for understanding technology well at both the server level and at the development level.

The Skills that are Key to this role
Technical
Strong experience in ETL and Data Testing.
Excellent SQL skills (joins, subqueries, aggregations, data comparison).
Good understanding of data warehousing concepts (fact/dimension tables, schemas).
Experience with ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, DataStage or similar.
Automation testing experience using Cypress or Selenium.
Strong API testing experience using tools like Postman or Swagger.
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL processes.
Expertise in validating data extraction, transformation, and loading workflows. Writing PL SQL Queries/Procedures and managing databases, validating data transformations, and ensuring data integrity
Identify and report data quality issues and inconsistencies.
Collaborate with ETL developers and data engineers to resolve data quality issues.
Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
Perform API testing to validate data flow and integrations.
Automate repetitive test scenarios using Cypress or Selenium.
Prepare test execution and defect reports for stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in data quality assurance.
Experience building, maintaining, and optimizing automated test cases
Communicate effectively within team as well as with partners
Experience in CI/CD pipelines and test execution automation.

Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations [FFIO] provide accounting and investment management support services to Fidelity businesses and mutual fund shareholders. You will be playing a key role in an important initiative for FFIO with the goal to increase production stability, making testing of business flows easier and faster. Your role will be the lead of development and maintenance of Automation solutions. Your role will also actively lead and contribute to the day-to-day planning, setting up and execution of end-to-end business flows in a non-production environment
The Expertise We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related subject.
3+ years of experience in information technology.
Financial services experience preferred.
